Grand Hotel Union was built in 1905 and is one of the oldest hotels in Ljubljana. Exterior and interior were built in secession style. The project presents the renovation of the 1st floor of Grand Hotel Union in total area 1700 m2. There are 29 rooms, including presidential/grand suite and residence suite. In all rooms, corridors and service rooms there is expected complete renovation of all fittings, changing of all surfaces coverings, lightning and furnture. Main concept goal was to design timeless contemporary interior that respects and corresponds the secession heritage and merges with it in a way, that they both present the indivisible whole.
